Why can't I access my VELUX skylight or skylight shade from my app, it is supposed to be automatically controlled by VELUX ACTIVE with NETATMO or VELUX App Control?

All control commands sent from the VELUX ACTIVE app require an internet connection between the mobile device and the VELUX gateway. If this communication link is disrupted, the app cannot be used until the link is re-established. The gateway itself will continue to provide automatic control for 2 days with no internet access. After this time, it stops as no weather data has been updated.
