What's the safest glass for my VELUX skylight?

Federal and local building codes require laminated glass be used for any skylights out of reach (usually above eight feet). Almost all VELUX skylights are constructed with Standard Safety Glass. This glass is not only the safest VELUX offers, but it also remains clean longer and reduces noise by up to 25% compared to other standard double pane glass.
