During the installation of VELUX ACTIVE, homeowners will be asked to create an account with an email and a password. The email is stored on a secure cloud server. The password will not be able to be accessed by VELUX. If the VELUX gateway is installed via Apple HomeKit, no data will be stored.
If the VELUX ACTIVE app is used, VELUX stores data about the gateway and system setup for service and product optimization purposes.
VELUX stores personal data while the account is active and 6 months after VELUX ACTIVE is disconnected.
