Help CenterVELUX wall remotes have two modes: automatic and manual. If the remote only operates the skylight or skylight shade when holding the up or down button, the remote is in manual mode.
Manual mode: Hold the arrows to move the product. The product stops moving when the hold is released.
Automatic mode: Quickly tap the arrows to initiate the product to movement. The skylight or skylight shade will stop moving when it reaches the fully opened or closed position, or until the stop button on the remote is pressed.
The remote's default mode is manual. To change the mode, hold one of the arrows down for more than a few seconds. To switch back to the original default mode, double-tap one of the arrows quickly.
If the automated mode is preferred, always use quick taps when using the remote.
