My VELUX solar-powered skylight shade slows down in the middle of travel.

If your solar-powered skylight shade slows down in the middle of travel, the connection between the shade and remote may need to be recalibrated.

The following instructions are for recalibrating a solar-powered skylight shade and wall remote:

1. On the wall remote, press the end of a paperclip or similar tool into the gear icon on the bottom of the remote for 1 second.
2. Press the center stop button for 1 second.
3. Press the down button for 1 second.
