Help CenterVELUX guarantees the battery operation of a solar-powered skylight to work for 5 years. The average life expectancy of these batteries is 10-12 years. If a replacement battery is needed, a new operator will need to be ordered. Replacing the operator is covered by the VELUX 5- year warranty.
