How do I reset an older model VELUX KLI 110 remote?

To identify if it is an older model VELUX KLI 110, have your remote in hand. On the front of the KLI 110 remote, there should be no icons in the bottom left corner. On the back of the KLI 110 remote, the two white buttons shown in the diagram should NOT have the letters “L” and “R”.
