How do I recalibrate my VELUX solar powered skylight shade?

There may be several reasons for needing to recalibrate the solar-powered shade. Below are just a few examples:

• The shade travels down but not up.
• The shade slows down in the middle of travel.
• The shade stops before fully opening or closing, but another press of the up or down button on the remote completes the shade's travel.

To recalibrate the solar-powered skylight shade:

1. On the wall remote, press the end of a paperclip or similar tool into the gear icon on the bottom of the remote for 1 second. 
2. Press the center stop button for 1 second.
3. Press the down button for 1 second.
