How do I identify my VELUX skylight model?

You can identify your skylight model by locating the serial number on the model sticker. All Skylight Systems have the skylight serial number in two locations:

1. On the inside, bottom-left corner of the skylight frame
2. On the back of the basic shade remote (KLI 312)

The serial number is on a white sticker in both locations. Curb-mounted skylights also have the serial number on the exterior cladding.

Previous Generation Skylights

Serial numbers on skylights in generations prior to the Skylight System are in different locations based on their model or style:

• Fixed deck-mounted skylights: Locate the serial number on the interior metal tag in the lower left corner of the skylight.
• Venting deck-mounted skylights: Locate the serial number on the interior metal tag in the upper left or middle of the skylight.
• Fixed or venting curb-mounted skylights: Locate the serial number engraved on the bottom or side of the exterior frame.
