Help CenterVELUX basic remotes have two modes: automatic and manual. If your remote only operates your product when you're holding down the up or down button, your remote is in manual mode.
Manual mode: Hold the arrows to move the product. The product stops moving when the hold is released.
Automatic mode: Quickly tap the arrows to initiate the product to move. The product will stop moving when it reaches the fully opened or closed position, or until the stop button on the remote is pressed.
The remote's default mode is manual. To change the mode, hold one of the arrows down for more than a few seconds. To switch back to the original default mode, double tap one of the arrows quickly.
If you prefer the automated mode, always use quick taps when using your remote.
