Help CenterIf you'd like to create one primary basic remote for all your skylight shades, you can do so by transferring or copying the data from one basic remote to another.
First, if you have any new remotes, make sure that all red tabs have been removed from the battery cavities. Confirm each remote has working batteries (2 AAA, 1.5V).
Set aside one basic remote to be your Primary Remote (the one your data will transfer TO). Before you begin transferring, confirm that the product(s) is working properly with each basic remote you'll be transferring data FROM.
Transferring Steps
On the FROM remote, press a paperclip into the gear icon pinhole on the bottom of the remote for 1 second. If you're transferring data from multiple remotes, press the gear icon on each remote. Note that there is a 10-minute time out limit on this process.
Once you've finished with your FROM remotes, get the remote you'll be using as your primary remote. On that remote, press a paperclip into the pairing icon (the overlapping squares) for 1 second. Next, press the center stop button on the remote, then the down button.
After this step, all your remote data should be transferred to your new primary remote.
