How do I recalibrate my skylight shade?

The following instructions are specifically for recalibrating a solar-powered skylight shade and basic remote.

Recalibrating your solar-powered shade is needed when:

• Your shade travels down but not up.
• Your shade slows down in the middle of travel.
• Your shade stops before begin fully opened or closed, but another press of the up or down button on the remote completes the shade's travel.

To recalibrate your solar-powered skylight shade:

1. On your basic remote, press a paperclip or similar tool into the gear icon on the bottom of the remote for 1 second.
2. Press the center stop button for 1 second.
3. Press the down button for 1 second.
