How do I install a shade in my skylight?

If you've installed VELUX Skylight Systems, they already include a pre-installed skylight shade - including remote controls!

But don't worry: If you have an older model skylight that didn't come with shades, you can still add one on!

Depending on your existing VELUX skylight, there are different steps for installing a new skylight shade.

If you have a VELUX venting skylight, a VELUX fixed curb-mounted skylight (FCM), or a VELUX self-flashed fixed skylight (QPF), use this guide for installing or replacing a skylight shade.
